Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Milling
$2,500 Hire Bonus – 50% paid after 30 days of employment, balance after 90 days.

Position Responsibilities:
· Strong leadership ability
· Develop and maintain NC programs using CAM software to facilitate continuous production of machined parts
· Utilize knowledge of available equipment, work holding, and tooling to create the most efficient production process possible
· Create and control technical information, plans, and instructions required to produce parts in a timely manner
· Identify and troubleshoot engineering and machining process problems to keep production process flowing
· Collaborate with sales team to perform time studies to generate accurate cost estimates with plan specifications
· Setup and perform first part run offs and coordinate with operators to continue machining operation
· Contribute to the training of company employees to continuously improve skill level of machine operators
· Perform pre-production engineering reviews and risk assessments to ensure project success
· Provide input to improve productivity and quality to reduce costs and achieve company goals
· Optimize and secure programs to prevent process alteration
Qualifications:
· CNC vertical and horizontal milling experience required
· Ability to program using CAM software from blueprints and solid models
· Expert CNC trouble shooting skills
· Experience cutting a wide variety of standard and exotic materials
· Proficiency with Fanuc and / or Haas controls required
· Experience with the following machine builders preferred: Makino, Haas, Brother, and Fanuc Robodrill.
· Software Knowledge required: Mastercam and Microsoft Office
· Software Knowledge preferred: Solidworks and Epicor (or equivalent ERP experience)
· Minimum 5 years programming
· 10 – 15 years in a machine shop environment
· Strong communication and organization skills
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Capacity for working in a team environment
Education:
· High School or equivalent required
· College or trade school preferred
